Living Life
Laugh. Love. Kiss. Cuddle. Smile. Make a new friend. Talk to that one person you always thought was gorgeous. Do something you've never had the courage to do.
Most importantly, be happy.
This weekend a guy I used to work with passed away at the age of 25. It's made me realise that not enough people actually live their lives. Life is about love, it's about emotion, feeling... knowing who you are. You may never realise how important your actions are and how they effect others.
To some people, the world is nothing but a dark abyss. It could only take one person to smile at them, say hello, just pay attention and the world could be a better place.
I'm not talking about making poverty history or stopping world wars. I'm talking about just trying to brighten the world with a smile.
Is it that hard, just to smile?

Sheffield Hallam University
Today was my "post offer open day" at Sheffield Hallam university. I was pretty excited, being such a highly recommended uni for journalism, I thought it'd be brilliant.
I was wrong.
The two course tutors don't even blog, one doesn't use any social networking sites or even know how to use them. Everyone knows the Internet is such a powerful source and can really benefit a journalist.
It's as if they were living in the past an refused to come out of it, like they're refusing to admit internet publications are going to become bigger than print based media.
Well, journo tutors at SHU, maybe it's time to upgrade?

Bulgaria
was absolutely beautiful but apart from the landscape it had nothing for me.
